And We're Off!

The season has started in fine style with the Premiership being led by a 2 game losing team! An unexpected start for Alpha A with those two losses, they will be looking to bounce back against Oakgate A. Don’s had a good result against the current champions MEBC, managing to take 7 games from them & Balderstone A getting a nice start to the season 12-6 against Alpha.

Division 2 has a had a strong start by Alpha B, with a resounding 13-5 win against Shawclough A, but another team really are flying out of the starting blocks are Heys A, with a great win away over Todmorden 12-6, and have followed it up with a resounding 17-1 against Oakgate B. They are setting a high pace for the other teams to try to match & it will be interesting to see how they fair as the season progresses. David Lloyd has also started well with a 13-5 win over Saddleworth A.

Finally, Division 3 started with the sad news of #david Lloyd B having to with draw from the league, but didn’t stop the fun & a really close fought battle with Edenfield A vs Alpha D, with Alpha taking an early scalp away from home 10-8. Both Heys B & Edenfield A had strong starts to the season with a 14-4 & an 11-7 respectively.

Here’s looking forward to the rest of the season! Don’t forget, if you want to submit a match review to the league I will publish it here in the news.
