Division 1, Week 2

After a strong opening week for Balderstone, GHAP A & Balderstone, Week 2 continued the trend for GHAP A on an away game result of a 13-5 win over Alpha A. The Don’s also continued with a strong performance away against Oakgate A winning 10-8 & finally the one home win of for MEBC vs Balderstone A , leaving the table well and truly open to all of the 3 top team’s at this point. GHAP A’s strong away result putting them top of the league with an 8 point lead going into a telling week 3 away match against MEBC. A crucial match for for both as MEBC’s 10-8 win over Balderstone has left them in third position.

In a battle further down the league, Alpha A will have a road match against Oakgate A, trying to kickstart the campaign and get a win.

Meanwhile the Don’s vs Balderstone will prove to be a tough matchup for the two.
