Division 3, week 6

Heys B continue to make inroads to Saddleworth B’s one game advantage by beating them 12-6 this week. Both Mohsin Mir & Talat Mahmood had 4 wins ( both winning with their B3 & C5 players) & the B players Rik Rokkitt & Asif Iqbal won both of their games together for Hey’s B to help with the scoreline.

A crucial win which make things incredibly tight at the top between the 2 with Hey’s B taking a 20 point lead Saddleworth are going to have to score heavy in the game they have in hand.

Balderstone B managed to get their first win of the season, a 14-4 no less, against Shawclough B, Brian Dearden contributing towards 5 wins (and very nearly 6 with a close loss 20-19 to Shawclough’s b players), Balderstone B players Rod Collins & Matthew Hamer neutralising that loss with a win against Shawclough’s A players.

Looking to week 7, Hey’s B travel to Alpha D this week, hoping to keep themselves at the top of the Division, whilst Shawclough B entertain Edenfield A, looking to bounce back from the loss this week. Edenfield B are hosts to Balderstone B who will be looking to keep the winning going.
