Well, a week in which a first for the league, MEBC finally lost an actual match! Who’d a thawt it! Shout out to the Don’s for being the team to deliver this event, and a well done to Steve Dolton for a 5 out of 6 games won on the evening contributing well to the win.

The MEBC team fielded was substantially different from the one GHAP A faced, but a win’s a win, & hopefully this year will see a more competitive Premier division. It will be interesting to see which team turns up at the MEBC vs GHAP A on the 24th Nov.

Whilst the Don’s stay top of the Division for another week we mustn’t forget MEBC have a game in hand.

Good news at last for Alpha A as they finally managed to break the very unusual duck, to win 13-5 against Balderstone A. With 5 wins each to their names, Phil Worthington & Chris Bowyer helped to make it a strong win.

Looking forward to next week we only have one game, with MEBC unable to field a team despite having the whole of Manchester to draw from, and Don’s vs Oakgate is to be rearranged as well.
That leaves GHAP A playing host to Alpha A who will be trying to keep the form they found this week & get an away win.
